The Creation and Fall of Man

That he was the direct creation of God, spirit, soul and body, not in any sense the product of evolutionary development, but made in the image of God.     (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:7, 18-24; Matthew 19:4; I Thessalonians 5:23)  
 
That by personal disobedience to the revealed will of God: Man became a sinful creature and the progenitor of a fallen race (Genesis 3:1-24; 5:3Romans 5:12) Who are universally sinful both in nature and practice (Romans 3:23; 5:12; Ephesians 2:3) Who are alienated from the life and family of God (John 8:42-44; Ephesians 4:18) Who are under the righteous judgment and wrath of God (Romans 1:18; 3:19,20; John 3:36) Who have within  themselves no possible means of recovery or salvation (Matthew 19:25,26; Mark 7:21-23; Romans 7:18)
